Trauma Case Consultation Group
A Monthly peer case consultation group for licensed therapists who work with trauma is now forming. The group will be open to all mental health professionals who are currently working with one or more trauma survivors. Topics and format for the group will be determined by participants, and will likely include the following:
- Best methods for facilitating trauma recovery, including CBT. DBT, EMDR, TREM, Solution-Focused, and attachment-based
- Complex trauma, DID, combat-related PTSD, sexual abuse, physical abuse, assault
- Therapist burnout and dealing with the challenges inherent in trauma work
